Controversy over Corona, Mamta’s reaction over central team, said – will not give entry without knowing the reason

New Delhi / Kolkata Politics has also intensified on the Corona transition. The Central Government decided to send the Inter Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) to some other states including West Bengal, after which West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was snapped. She said that she would not allow this team to enter the state without knowing the obvious reason for sending it to the central team.

The entire country is plagued by the Corona virus. All state governments and the central government are combating this disaster. Although politics continues even during this disaster. The central government has decided to send IMCT to some states including West Bengal. These teams will send their reports to the central government on the ground situation of Corona in the states and complaints of lockdown violation. However, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has strongly opposed this move of the Center.

Mamta Banerjee tweeted on Monday 20 April, targeting the central government and asked for a clear reason for sending these teams to the state. Mamta wrote, We welcome the support and suggestions of the Central Government against the Corona epidemic. However, the purpose of the central government’s decision to send IMCT to some other states, including West Bengal, is beyond comprehension.

Central government will send central team to Corona affected states

Actually, the central government has decided to send two IMCTs in West Bengal. This team will include officers and ministers from different ministries of the center. These teams will review the state’s preparations against Corona and mainly the success of the lockdown. The Union Home Ministry said in a letter to the Chief Secretary of the state, ‘These teams will make an on-spot assessment of the situation in the public interest, give directions to the state governments and send their reports to the central government.

Will not allow permission without reason

The Center said in the letter, it is clear that the situation is not good in Kolkata, Howrah, East Medinipur, North 24 Parganas, Darjeeling, Calimpong and Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. Mamta objected, saying, I ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah the basis for electing these districts of the state. I am sorry to say that I will not be able to allow it without any clear reason, because it is against the spirit of the Sangh.
