Shoaib Akhtar targeted Kapil Dev, said- not him, but people need money
Shoaib Akhtar had earlier organized an ODI series between the two countries and asked for the help of the people fighting Corona with the money earned from it. Kapil did not like this thing here. But now Shoaib has targeted Kapil Dev.
New Delhi : Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has criticized Kapil Dev, saying that Kapil is not in need of Indo-Pak Fund but other people need it, so I am in favor of Indo-Pak series again and again. On Wednesday, Shoaib Akhtar had said that if the people fighting Corona had to help, then both the countries would have to play a three-match ODI series and then in the end the funds raised from this series could be helped by the people. After this, Shoaib’s statement was opposed by other former cricketers in India along with Kapil.
Apart from Kapil, former India player Madan Lal also refused Akhtar’s proposal and said that it is for the government to decide, not Akhtar. However, Akhtar is still firm on his statement and has targeted Kapil Dev. Akhtar told a news channel, “I think Kapil bhai could not understand what I was trying to say. Everybody is going to be financially stuck. It’s time to stay together and generate revenue. I have a big perspective I’m talking about economic reforms. “
He said, “Kapil said that he does not need the money. Definitely will not, but the rest is there. The India-Pakistan match will generate revenue. I think this suggestion will be taken into consideration.” The former fast bowler said that there is a lot of poverty in both India and Pakistan and both countries should help each other in this hour of crisis.
Akhtar said, “I said that I know India more than Prime Minister Imran Khan. I have traveled to many areas and interacted with many people there. I keep telling people here what Indians are “There is a lot of poverty in our countries. When people are suffering, I am sad. As a human being and a Muslim, it is my responsibility to help as much as I can.”
The former Pakistani fast bowler further said, “I was just asking what are the options we have for the next six months. What will all the people who do jobs because of cricket do? What will happen to those whose livelihood depends on cricket ? The time has come for us to think together and plan how the revenue will come. “
