Saudi Arabia imposed 24-hour curfew in Mecca and Medina
Riyadh. In view of the deadly outbreak of the Corona virus, Saudi Arabia has imposed a 24-hour curfew in Mecca and Medina. This curfew has been imposed in all areas of the city and it is strictly prohibited for anyone to leave. However, people living in both these cities of Mecca and Medina have been allowed to leave their homes only to shop for essential things. At the same time, employees of government and private sectors have been given relief from this curfew.
So far 1,885 cases in Saudi Arabia, 21 dead
According to the news of Al Arabiya, other Gulf Arab states have also closed districts with migrant labor population. According to the Saudi Health Ministry, 1,885 cases of corona virus have been reported in the country till Thursday and 21 people have died. Apart from this, there are 328 people who have been cured. At the same time, international flights have already been stopped here. Apart from this, Umrah and Haj, which run throughout the year, are also currently suspended. Most of the public places have been closed here.
Significantly, Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz had ordered the curfew to be imposed in Mecca-Medina, Riyadh and Jeddah from 3 pm to 6 pm last week. Under this, the Saudi government had last week banned the travel of citizens and residents in 13 provinces of the country.
