Extent of negligence: telling the man alive was 5 were going home by claiming alive man to be dead in ambulance, arrested

Jammu. Lockdown has been declared till April 14 across the country, in such a situation, many people are not reaching their destination and are adopting strange methods for this. One such case has come up from Surankote in Poonch district. To go home here, a person falsely plotted his death and then went out of the house in an ambulance with his companions.

However, the police failed their plot and caught everyone. Police arrested the driver of the ambulance and sent four to Quarantine. Police has also got fake death certificate of the person. A case has been registered against the arrested accused under IPC sections.

According to the information, SHO Surankote Anil Kumar Sharma was on patrol with the jawans during the lockdown. During this, a private ambulance was seen, and stopped it. People riding an ambulance showed the death certificate of Hakam Deen Putra Saheb Deen made from GMC Jammu. When the police investigated, the injured Hakam Din came out alive.

The police brought everyone along with the ambulance to the police station. During interrogation, the people riding the ambulance told that Hakam Deen GMC was admitted in Jammu. Where there were two timbers with him. On 27 March GMC from Mohammad Yusuf, son of Mohammad Ashraf, came to him from Patiala Punjab and stayed there till morning after Hakmadin was discharged from GMC on 30 March.

Later, with the help of Mohammad Ashraf, he set out from Jammu in a private ambulance for the village Sailon located on the Mughalroad in Surankot tehsil. On all the points between Jammu and Surankot, he continued to show the death certificate and Hakmadin as a dead body. But upon reaching close to home, his lie was caught.
