Former great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar has assisted Rs 50 lakh in the war with Corona virus. Tendulkar, who holds almost all the big records of world cricket in his name, on Friday donated 25 lakhs to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and the same amount to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.Connected with many social organizations and charities, Tendulkar wanted to help both the Center and the state government. Apart from Sachin, the name of Pathan brothers is also prominent among those who come forward against this deadly epidemic. Irfan and Yusuf have donated 4000 face masks to the Baroda Police and Health Department, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni contributed Rs 1 lakh through a Pune-based NGO.
Apart from cricketers, wrestler Bajrang Punia and runner Hima Das are some of the names who have donated their salary in the battle against Kovid-19.
