He Secret Service is investigating death threats against the vice president Mike pence made by the lawyer Lin Wood, who is a supporter of the president Donald trump.

The lawyer was banned from Twitter last week, after writing messages calling on followers of the MAGA movement to exercise violence.

In one of the messages, he said to prepare firing squads and that the first to be executed would be Vice President Pence, who last Wednesday refused to have the authority to challenge the certification of the Electoral College vote, as Trump insisted.

“Prepare the firing squads. Pence goes FIRST “, wrote.

According to Fox News, after that message, also distributed on other social networks, led the Secret Service to open an investigation.

“We are aware of the comments and we take all threats against our protégés very seriously,” a Secret Service spokesman told the television station.

It was added that other agencies are also investigating the facts, including the call to hang Pence by a rope.

During the violent irruption of the followers of President Trump, Pence had to be sheltered in a security room, since he was in the Capitol for the certification of the election, but CNN reports indicate that the president did not bother to know the state physique of his second in command.
