Tom Daley shares his unlikely new habit introduced by hubby Dustin Lance Black
Tom Daley usually has barely a stitch on, but nowadays the diver loves a jumper.
The 26-year-old Olympian took up knitting after his husband, screenwriter Dustin Black, suggested it might help him unwind after training.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4, Tom said: “I threw myself headfirst into it. I’ve been obsessed ever since.”
He shows off the knits he makes for himself, Dustin, 46, and their two-year-old son Robbie online.
Do a high dive in those crocheted trunks and you may have us all in stitches, Tom.
The professional diver and his husband celebrated three years of marriage back in May.
Tom, who wed the 45-year-old in 2017, shared a touching wedding day throwback on social media on their anniversary.
In the adorable post, Tom and Dustin looked ecstatic as they exchanged rings on their magical wedding day.
In his gushing Instagram post, Tom expressed his disbelief at how things had changed in just the space of three years.
“THREE YEARS AGO. Can’t believe we have been married for 3 years! So much has changed. I love our little family,” he wrote in the caption.
Tom confirmed in a YouTube video in 2013 that he had been dating a man for some time and that he made him feel “so happy, so safe and everything just feels great.”
The couple then moved in together and Tom eventually popped the question in 2015.
