Emily Atack 'splits from toyboy' after 'pressures of lockdown ruined romance'

Emily Atack is reportedly single after her relationship with toyboy boyfriend Charlie Edwards broke down due to the ‘pressures of lockdown’.

The 31-year-old TV personality has seen her career take off since appearing in the jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and she is currently a team captain on Keith Lemon’s anarchic quiz, Celebrity Juice.

This has meant that opportunities to be with Charlie have become limited with the Covid restrictions pretty much putting paid to them getting to spend any time together.

The strict household rules imposed by the Government and with Emily’s work schedule becoming ever busier, they have decided that it is time to go their separate ways.

Their fling lasted three months and a source told The Sun that Emily’s projects, which also included her own comedy show on ITV2, were the main reason for the pair splitting.

The source said: “Emily’s work schedule has been busy lately and she’s had to really focus on making that work.

“She was really into Charlie, who is obviously very handsome. and there was a good spark there, but it’s definitely over.”

Emily is reportedly hoping “the door remains open” for a possible future reprise of the relationship but it is just impossible at the moment.”

Emily and Charlie has reportedly been dating since October last year, when thy were spotted looking cosy while on a night out in London.

Charlie is believed to have left for a holiday in Dubai before the third national lockdown prevented him from jetting off.

This is the second time that Emily has suffered lockdown love heartbreak after trying virtual dates last year.

She found it difficult to make a connection as she missed the physical meet up of a date.

Emily said: “I need the tactile vibes. I’ve got to have the physical connection.

“I spoke to a couple of pleasant people but Zoom dating ain’t for me.”
