Woman was raped and suffocated by fake delivery man who arrived at her apartment in Manhattan | The State
A young woman was raped and squeezed by the neck when she opened the door to her Manhattan apartment, believing she was receiving a delivery, reported NYPD.
The 27-year-old victim told police the man knocked on her door at the 230 East 30th St building, Midtown East, just before noon on Wednesday, and he immediately began to suffocate her.
“He made it look like he was delivering a package,” a NYPD spokeswoman said. The woman later stated that the asphyxia made her lose consciousness and that when she came to, the man was raping her.
In addition, the attacker took his bank cards before fleeing. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, he said. New York Post.
