Suki Waterhouse vows to overcome chart flop past with new lo-fi dream pop album
Suki Waterhouse has vowed to have another stab at chart success after her past efforts failed to crack the top 200.
The 28-year-old model and actress has also dipped her toe into the world of music as a singer – unleashing a number of tunes since 2016.
Chart success, however, has eluded the actress and model – with her 2016 debut effort, titled Brutally, reportedly failing to reach the Top 200 in the UK music charts.
But Suki has revealed she is putting her failures behind her and plans to continue with her musical ambitions and is hard at work on a brand new album.
She told the Daily Mail: “I’m making an album, which is cool, and there’s little things happening with it.”
She added: “I like collaborating with a feast of friends.”
Suki went to describe what kind of music fans will be able to look forward to hearing, stating: “I like lo-fi ‘dream pop’, but also simple folk.”
Suki’s return to the music scene has sparked speculation that her boyfriend of three-years, Robert Pattinson, might feature on her new album.
The upcoming Batman star has a long history of past music endeavours, with the Daily Mail suggesting Suki should snare him for a duet on her album.
R Patz was known to perform his self-penned music in pubs around London in the early 2010s.
The 34-year-old would perform under a pseudonym, Bobby Dupea, and had a band called Bad Girls.
In 2019, he sang on a song called Willow with a band called Tindersticks, with the track featuring on the original soundtrack to his movie, High Life.
While in October last year, he performed with rock band Haim, presenting the spoken-word opening of their song, 3AM, during a performance on us talk show Lat Night with Seth Meyers.
