How Megan Fox Feels About Brian Austin Green Moving On With Sharna Burgess After Their Split
Brian Austin Green was spotted boarding a plane with ‘DWTS’ pro Sharna Burgess earlier this week and we found out how his ex, Megan Fox, is feeling about this potential new romance.
Brian Austin Green, 47, and Dancing with the Stars’ pro dancer Sharna Burgess, 35, shocked fans by publicly stepping out together on Dec. 27, but his ex, Megan Fox, 34, couldn’t be happier for him. “Megan is very happy that Brian appears to be moving on and dating,” a source close to the former couple told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “It really does not bother her at all.”
Megan and Brian began dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of Hope & Fate. And after secretly tying the knot in 2010, they endured their fair shares of make-ups and break-ups over the years. Ultimately, they called it quits when Megan filed for divorce in 2020. But through the ups and downs, they found a lot of bright spots through their children Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey River, 4. Brian also has son Kassius Marcil-Green, 18, with ex Vanessa Marcil.
Megan also seemed to be moving on without issue when she stepped out with singer Machine Gun Kelly, 30, in the spring of 2020, and that was hard for her ex to see! “It’s no secret that Brian had a really difficult time when Megan first decided she wanted to get a divorce,” the source added. “So it’s good for their kids to have a happy father.”
Although the 2018 mirror ball champion is not the first woman Brian has been seen with since his split, she seems to be the most serious. After posting on Instagram that her trip to Hawaii with the actor was the “Best vacation in a lifetime,” it seems like this could be turning into something serious. After all, Brian told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY earlier this month that he’s learned a lot about himself this past year. “The only thing I have control over is the person I choose to be living this life, so the person I choose to be as life as the roller coaster of it all goes,” Brian revealed when talking about his partnership with the Boys & Girls Club and Galpin Ford. “So it’s really pushed me into this space of being much more responsible for who I am and really thinking through everything and being the best person I can be, not just for myself but for my kids, the people around me, handling things in the most productive way possible and it’s hard. That’s the high road and that’s the road less traveled and it’s less traveled for a reason and it’s not a great road. It’s a hard one to be on.”
As the former couple head into the new year, they’ve learned to put the kids first as best as they can while Megan focuses on her new relationship with MGK. “They aren’t on the best of terms, but not the absolute worst, either,” the source said. “They’re able to communicate when they need to. Megan would love to continue acting in more movies in 2021, that’s the plan. It really seems things are getting more serious [between her and Machine Gun Kelly], so it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see them take the next steps towards building a future together, including moving in with one another and marriage at some point.”
