Jason Donovan is rumoured to be among a star-studded celebrity line-up set to take part in Dancing On Ice this year
And the actor was spotted with a cut on his forehead as he got caught in the rain in London on Wednesday.
Jason was seen sporting a casual grey sweatshirt and jeans while looking at properties in an estate agent’s window as he went about his afternoon in the capital.
Jason’s outing comes after the the ITV celebrity skating competition – which is said to have already started training sessions with the celeb cast – dropped some major hints as to which celebrities are joining the 2021 series.
The broadcaster took to social media last week with a cryptic image and emoji clues to hint at who will be joining one of the channel’s flagship shows.
Dancing On Ice’s official Twitter page tweeted: “The greatest show on ice is back! But which celebs will be skating their way onto your screens?
“Here’s a few clues…[soap emoji, ticket emoji, radio emoji, baby’s milk bottle emoji]”.
Beneath these clues was a composite image of four contestant’s photos, albeit with their faces obscured.
Naturally, fans of the celebrity skating competition quickly took to the replies section to share their theories.
One fan wrote: “can confirm ALL 4…. Top Left – Joe Warren-Plant ( Emmerdale) Top Right – Denise van Outen (Has done musical theatre) Bottom Left – Rufus Hound (Presents a radio show) Bottom Right – Billie Faiers (The Mummy diaries) There you go! ba boom!”.
Another follower of the series commented: “Jason Donovan and Denise Van Outen I’ve heard. Worth watching just for them alone!”
Elsewhere, one begged: “Please let it be true one of them is Jason Donovan, I’m already saving so I can pay my phone bill”.
The rumours of Jason taking part fit with the bar of soap due to Jason’s past on Neighbours, stirring fans theories further.
The theories come after reports that Denise Van Outen had signed up for series, with the actress certainly seeming to fit the theatre-ticket emoji and the top-right section of the image.
Meanwhile Rufus Hound and Billie Faiers have been reported to be joining the show and do fit nicely with the emoji clues of the radio (due to Rufus’ radio show), and a milk bottle (due to Billie’s series with her sister Sam Faiers, The Mummy Diaries).
No cast members have yet been fully confirmed by ITV.
Returning judges are expected to include skating icons Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Diversity’s Ashley Banjo, and West End star John Barrowman.
