Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr ‘full of joy’ to announce she’s pregnant

Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr is pregnant with her first child.
The actress, 35 – who played Vanessa Abrams on the show – told that she and husband Brad Richardson, also 35, were overjoyed to be welcoming their first together.
Jessica made the announcement on her Instagram page, sharing a black-and-white snap of Brad planting a kiss on her blossoming bump.
She wrote that the pair are “full of joy” to share their baby joy with friends.
The happy couple were flooded with messages of congratulations from fans and pals alike as they celebrated the good news.
Among the celeb well-wishers were actress Eiza Gonzalez and Paris Hilton’s sister Nicky.
While it’s Jessica’s first, Brad shares a daughter with ex-wife Lauren Hunt.

Jessica, who’s currently starring in Seth McFarlane’s space-bound comedy The Orville, had teased the big reveal earlier with a cryptic caption.
In a clip on her Instagram Stories, she concealed her bump and wrote: “Let life surprise you.”
She was thought to have struck up a romance with pro hockey player Brad early last year, before they went public with their relationship a month later.
Jessica’s not the only Gossip Girl star to have celebrated baby joy recently.

Blair Waldorf actress Leighton Meester, 34, welcomed a son earlier this month with husband and OC actor Adam Brody, who described the tot as a “dream.”
Adam, 40, confirmed the happy news as he appeared on Twitch show The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular to the seven other participants.
When one acknowledged the birth, Adam gushed: “I have a new – yeah, since last I played I have a new kid.

“I have a boy and he’s a dream, he’s a dream boy.”
They already share four-year-old daughter Arlo Day, making the newborn their second child together.
The now mum-of-two Leighton was snapped with her baby bump on display back in April, while doting dad Adam pushed little Arlo in a pushchair.
Late last year another Gossip Girl star, Blake Lively, welcomed her and husband Ryan Reynolds’ third daughter together.
