Harry Potter’s Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton send fans into frenzy with cute post

Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs sent social media into meltdown after he wished his on-screen son a Happy Birthday yesterday.

The 57-year-old actor, known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, wrote a touching message to actor Tom Felton on Tuesday.

In the Twitter post, Jason wrote a birthday message to Tom – who played son Draco Malfoy – and even made a reference to the Harry Potter stories.

Sharing the tribute with his 241,600 Twitter followers, Jason also shared a selfie alongside Tom.

“Holy hairy heroes son – you’re Jesus’s age today!” he penned.

“In these strangest of dark days you’re always a ray of light to me.

“Thanks for making mischief, music and magic for this fan (and all the others too). Happiest of Birthday Bonanzas Love ya kid Fake Dad x,” he concluded in the hilarious post.

Tom, who turned 33 yesterday, was also in on the joke, responding: “Love you dad x.”

Fans of JK Rowling’s stories will know all too well that Lucius and Draco were some of the key antagonists in the magical stories.

Harry Potter fans couldn’t get enough of the exchange and expressed their joy at seeing their bond live on after the movies had ended.

Taking to Instagram, Tom later thanked his fans for the birthday messages and shared a picture alongside his mum during an outing in London.

“Mum & I having a great day in London. Thank you for all the birthday wishes I’m so grateful for all the love & support you’ve all shown me over the years. Here’s to the next one xx,” he wrote.
