Cadillac launches a new mode of opening the car via facial recognition | The NY Journal

Cadillac is always looking to integrate the most cutting-edge technologies into its cars for the convenience of its customers, which is why it recently made an update on the Cadillac XT4 adding a functionality of facial recognition to open and start the truck.

This new vehicle opening mode is named by Cadillac as “Face ID”, And it works in the same way as smartphones do today. Cadillac’s facial recognition is described as “the ultimate keyless experience,” and it works seamlessly day and night.

According to information from MSN Autos, “Face ID” works in external weather conditions, so the owner can be sure that his car will recognize it under any circumstances.
