Thiago’s wife has sent her husband a message of support following his transfer to Liverpool debut and potential Premier League debut.

Jurgen Klopp was keen to get the former Bayern Munich star registered to play for the Reds this weekend, after he completed a £26million move.

It’s not clear whether Thiago trained with his new team-mates ahead of this weekend’s clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard wasn’t captured in any pictures at the training ground, suggesting Klopp has yet to get a close look at Thiago at Melwood.

But it seems the German is keen to get him involved as soon as possible, and has named him on his bench this Sunday – meaning Thiago could well make his Premier League debut this weekend.
