Reality star Pete Wicks has said that girls are begging him for Sam Thompson’s number.

The Only Way Is Essex star Pete, 31, has been supporting his Made in Chelsea star pal Sam, 28, after his split from girlfriend Zara McDermott.

It is thought Sam and Zara split last month, with reports suggesting that the Love Island beauty was unfaithful to Sam.

Posting on his Instagram Story on Saturday, Pete wrote: “The amount of women flying into my DMs…So that I can pass their number onto @samthompsonuk”.

It come after Sam wrote on Instagram about how supportive Pete has been during this difficult time.

Sharing an image that had been photoshopped using the FaceApp effect to age Pete up, Sam captioned the amusing image: “Thank you so much for putting up with me for the past week @p_wicks01 I’m incredibly lucky to have people I can lean on when I’m down.

“I know you’re not the soppy type, but you really are the brother I never had. I love you mate [heart emoji]

#WEGOAGAIN good to see I havnt aged you over the past 6 days [laughing face emoji]”.

Sam has thanked Pete for being there for him in recent weeks

Pete has been supporting Sam through his break-up with Zara McDermott

Pete replied with a simple heart emoji, while Sam’s older sister and MiC co-star Louise Thompson replied with two laughing emojis.

The TOWIE star’s post comes comes after Sam’s ex Zara shared a cryptic post on Instagram.

The quote she shared read: “We have all hurt someone tremendously, whether by intent or accident.”

It continued: “We have all loved someone tremendously, whether by intent or accident. It is an intrinsic human trait and a deep responsibility, I think, to be an organ and a blade.

It was shared with a sad-face emoji, adding to speculation that she was referring to her the issues surrounding her script.
