The former glamour model, 42, took to her Instagram account on Thursday afternoon to share a set of pictures of herself and Amy and then another with the two of them and her siblings Sophie and Daniel.

Amy suffers from a terminal condition called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), which scars the lungs and reduces the efficiency of breathing.

In the first post, Katie posed with her mum by the sea in a black chain print mini-dress, while Amy looked summery in a yellow top and matching trousers.

The first snap showed Katie planting a kiss on her mum’s head while Amy wrapped her arm around her daughter’s waist.
