Jurgen Klopp doubles down on Liverpool exit plans with latest admission

Jurgen Klopp has once more confirmed his plans for life after Liverpool.
And again he has assured Reds fans not to expect to see him patrolling the touchline of a Premier League rival, ala Jose Mourinho.
The German signed a new contract with the Premier League champions until 2024 last December.
That will take him up to nine years on Merseyside as Liverpool manager.
The man who has led the club to a sixth European Cup and first English league title in 30 years has admitted that he is open to renewing at Anfield and staying as king of the Kop for longer.
But the ex-Mainz and Borussia Dortmund boss has doubled down on comments made last month over his next step when he does depart.

In August, speaking to German publication SportBuzzer, Klopp said: “I’ll take a year off and ask myself if I miss football. If I say no, then that will be the end of coach Jurgen Klopp.
“If one day I am no longer a coach, there is one thing I will not miss: the brutal tension immediately before the game.”
Now, speaking to Einfach Fussbal, Klopp has insisted once more that he will take at least a one-year sabbatical when he walks away from Liverpool.
“When I leave Liverpool, I won’t take a new job the next day. That’s for sure.
“I will take a one-year break after Liverpool.”

That year sabbatical had been the plan for Klopp when he walked away from Borussia Dortmund in 2015, after seven years at the helm at the Westfalenstadion.
However, he never quite managed to enjoy a year off, pitching up at Anfield five months after he left the German giants to replace Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp’s title winners are back in Premier League action on Sunday, when they face Chelsea.
