Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood and Man City’s Phil Foden have both made the final shortlist for the 2020 Golden Boy Award.
The Manchester pair, who were sent home from England duty for breaching Covid-19 guidelines, are two of seven representatives from the Premier League in the running for the prestigious award.
Each year, Italian newspaper Tuttosport honour the brightest young talents across Europe in that calendar year.
Joao Felix won last year’s award, while previous winners include the likes of Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe.
Borussia Dortmund pair Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho will be two of the front runners for the award after enjoying stunning years in the Bundesliga.
Greenwood’s inclusion comes after breaking into the United lineup, while Foden has continued to impress under Pep Guardiola.
