Single-day spike of 94,372 COVID-19 cases push India tally to 47.5 lakh

New Delhi, September 13

A single-day spike of 94,372 COVID-19 cases on Sunday has pushed India’s virus caseload to 47,54,356. Meanwhile, 1,114 more fatalities took the death toll to 78,586, the data according to the Union Health Ministry said.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the country stands at 9,73,175 while 37,02,595 people have recovered from the disease so far, the Union Health Ministry has said. PTI
