Fed-up Molly-Mae Hague is actively avoiding Twitter because she is so annoyed by the stick she keeps getting.

The star has been promoting a £8,000 designer handbags giveaway across her social media channels – but insists she isn’t being paid for it.

In fact, the Love Island star claims she has even dipped into her own pocket to put on the competition as a thank you to her fans.

But some have complained she is pushing the promotion too much after her post was shared over a million times.

She didn’t like it when one sarcastically wrote: “£10 to any girl that hasn’t entered Molly-Mae’s giveaway.”

Some were sick of seeing the competition on twitter – and let her know it

The beauty snapped back, saying: “£10 to any boy that’s not tweeted ‘£10 to any girl thats not entered Molly-Mae’s giveaway’….. terms and conditions apply x.”

She then headed to Instagram to tell fans she’s trying not to look at Ywitter that much any more.

She explained: “I’ve been kind of trying to not look at Twitter too much just because even though it’s meant to be a lovely thing and something we can all enjoy together people still have their mad opinions on it always.

She says she paid for the giveaway herself – and was hurt by the abuse

“And I’m one of those people that do tend to read things and I do tend to let it get to me but I just made this giveaway for something for us all to enjoy together, a way that we can celebrate having a million subscribers together and also a way for me to give back was the main thing .

“I wouldn’t have any of this stuff without you guys, I wouldn’t be able to do any of the things I do .

“Like even be where I am now in Milan that wouldn’t be happening without you guys so it’s just a way I can give back and say thank you really.”

Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury have made millions since leaving the villa

She wanted to make it clear that the giveaway wasn’t earning her big bucks.

The star put: “This giveaway is not a paid partnership or in any way an affiliation of any brands that are included.

“Everything included has been purchased by me for this giveaway for you all to enjoy. The winner will be picked at random.”

During her time on the fifth series of Love Island, some labelled her “Money-Mae,” after she “fake cried to win the £50,000 cash prize”.
