Sky Sports have confirmed their list of pundits for the 2020/21 season after a string of controversial sackings.

Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas were let go from the Soccer Saturday panel with presenter Scott Minto also leaving the company.

They plan to use a variety of studio guests alongside the likes of Jeff Stelling, Paul Merson and Chris Kamara on the show this season.

They have now confirmed Sue Smith, Clinton Morrison, Alan McInally and Glen Johnson will also be regulars on the panel.

But new guests will also include Adebayo Akinfenwa, Tim Sherwood, Robbie Fowler and Joleon Lescott.

Sky Sports Director of Football Gary Hughes said: ‘With fans currently unable to attend matches in person, it is imperative we provide the best possible TV and digital coverage to our audiences.

“Confirming Patrice, Micah and Roy to add to our existing line-up of award-winning pundits is brilliant news and we will strive to take the game closer to fans than ever before with increased live action, highlights and analysis.”
