EE’s Jessica Plummer posts moving message about daughter ahead of soap exit

Actress Jessica Plummer has posted a moving message of love for her young daughter ahead of her EastEnders exit.
The 27-year-old beauty is the mother of adorable four-year-old daughter Noa, who has now started primary school.
Naturally, the milestone has proved a moving time for Jessica, who recently shared a Greek holiday with her young girl.
The pair’s break followed the actress filming her final scenes as the tragic Chantelle Atkins in the BBC One soap.
Sharing a clip from their hotel room that sees her show shots of her dozing daughter as she looks over her, Jessica captioned the clips with a sweet message.
Jessica writes: “I know for the past couple of months 99.9% of my content is basically just me and Noa [laughing emoji] but I promise I do have friends and family that are grown ups!

“Today was Noas first day at school! Cried like a little b***h. She literally looked at me like “u k hun’ and skipped in with her class [sad face]
“So now I’m looking at old videos and pictures (parents will know [laughing emoji]) coz I miss her and she’s growing up to bloody fast [crying face emoji]”.
The former Neon Jungle singer then went on to share more footag and opened up about how proud she is to have Noa as her little girl.

Jess continued: “…still crying like a little b***h [laughing emoji]
“If I could put into words jhow much I love this little “big girl” [heartbreak emoji] it literally hurts my chest. Like all the love doesn’t fit and wants to burst out?”
“Proud is an understatement. Noa is literally the kindest sweetest cheekiest clumsy child in the world [sad face emoji] (Trust my child to be the one that falls face first into the pavement 2 minutes round the corner from school[upside down smiling face emoji])”.

She then went on to profess that she feels like a big sister to her only child.
“Maybe not a good thing to admit as a parent,” wrote Jessica. “But sometimes it really does feel like we just two sisters little and large [laughing emoji]
She concluded: “She literally my life line.
“This skinny long foot 4 year old has no bloody idea [purple heart emoji].”
Jessica then shared video footage of her looming over a dozing Noa before then asking She says to her little girl” “To the pool? Shall we get dressed? Yeah! Shall we get breakfast? Yeah! Come on, let’s go!”

The cute clip comes ahead of the actress’ exit from the soap on September 18.
Chantelle will be killed off as the tragic domestic abuse storyline ends with her death at the hands of husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Stephens).
The family were introduced last year but it was always intended that the storyline would end tragically, the importance of which feels more resonant in light of the increase in domestic abuse as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

EastEnders’ executive producer Jon Sen said of Chantelle’s exit: “Jessica’s performance is nothing short of extraordinary and even in her final scenes, the audience will be moved by Chantelle’s strength.
“We’re very sorry so see Jessica go but hope that her impact on viewers is long-lasting.”
