Stephen Belafonte took some time out of his ongoing feud with ex Mel B to give daughter Madison some 9th birthday treats.
Mel, 45, and the American TV producer, 44, split three years ago but remain at each other’s throats over access to their daughter.
A number of his recent cutting tirades have got under the singer’s skin as they battle for custody.
So he showed the former Spice Girl, who accused him in the past of being abusive – which he denies – what a good dad he is by spoiling their little girl on her big day.
There were sweet treats everywhere as Madison had a birthday she won’t forget in Los Angeles.
One present she would probably like is her warring parents to find some neutral ground.
In legal documents filed in LA, he slammed the star as “despicable” and a “weird psycho”.
Two weeks ago, her bitter ex branded her a “crazy, alcoholic drug user” with a “poisoned mind” in another rant as it turned toxic.
Mel is trying to do things in a civil manner as couple remain locked in battle.
The papers say: “Melanie has asked Stephen multiple times to only discuss matters related to co-parenting Madison, and to stop harassing Melanie with his inappropriate comments but he has continued with his rants.”
But the Brit called out his tirade and hits back by claiming Belafonte has stopped her from FaceTiming Madison during the coronavirus lockdowns in the US and UK.
Scary Spice star Mel – who also has daughters Phoenix, 21, and Angel, 13 – is accusing him of hiding his real income.
She claims Belafonte bought a £1million home despite claiming to have an income of just £800 a month.
Madison is currently staying with her dad in LA while Mel, real name Melanie Brown, is in the UK.
The documents state: “There have been multiple court orders issued that permit FaceTime calls with Madison at designated times.
“However, Melanie has found it extremely difficult to have these FaceTime calls because Stephen either prohibits the calls from taking place or makes various excuses why the calls did not take place.
“Stephen has been refusing to allow Melanie consistent FaceTime contact with Madison as ordered by the court. This is a continuing issue.
“Stephen will continue to alienate Melanie from Madison’s life unless the Court takes a decisive step the only way Stephen will understand, namely hurting Stephen’s pocket book.”
