David Beckham’s incredible cooking skills have reportedly made wife Victoria break her near-20 year carb ban.

The former Spice Girl, 46, was dazzled by her husband’s homemade pizza during lockdown.

So strong is his kitchen ability that she reportedly broke her golden rule and tucked into a slice – and then didn’t hold back.

Posh treated herself with the ex-England star throwing various different toppings onto his mega creation and it proved too much for her to resist.

But Victoria is back on the wagon – her favourite steamed fish and veg is now the main thing on her menu.

Victoria grabbed a slice of the action

A source told The Sun : “Victoria hasn’t touched a carb since 2001.

“But at the start of lockdown, David started experimenting with recipes making the dough from scratch and trying various toppings.

“Victoria eventually relented and had a small slice.

“Things progressed and, basically, she couldn’t get enough of David’s delicious golden dough balls.”

David has come into his own during lockdown

Becks will be thrilled with the news that his wife has succumbed to his cooking skills.

The 45-year-old fancies himself in the kitchen – and it is reported that David is being lined up for a stint on Celebrity Bake Off.

Casting bosses saw what he was cooking at home and got in touch with his representatives.

Even picky Posh couldn’t resist his cooking

The former Manchester United midfielder – given his Goldenballs nickname by wife Victoria – is currently mulling over an offer to take part in the celebrity version of the Channel 4 show in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.

His family are backing him after an impressive lockdown performance.

A TV source told the Mirror: “Signing David Beckham for the show really would be the icing on the cake.

“Everyone’s very excited about the prospect of him taking part.

“He was the name that a lot of the casting team had on their list at the very first meeting because of his love of cooking – especially baking – during lockdown.

“It’s for charity too, so they’re really hoping he can do it.”
