TOWIE’s rich list with the biggest earners ranked as some snub reunion show

[ad_1]

Cult favourite The Only Way is Essex will be returning to our screens on September 6 for its brand new 26th series – and as all true fans know, there’s a little more to it than that.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the show that brought us some telly icons, spectacular fallouts and some classic catchprases.

The cast members we know who are starring in the upcoming series include former stars Lauren Goodger, Amy Childs and James Argent.

It will air twice a week with 18 episodes altogether.

But which of the TOWIE royality have really cashed in the most – and how have they earned their money on the back of the show?

Let’s find out.

Mark Wright – £9.2m

Mark and wife Michelle Keegan are living the high life

He has the looks, the stunning wife… oh, and the best part of £10m.

Mark Wright is richest of the lot, building a big fan base since everyone became hooked on his romance with co-star Lauren Goodger.

He recently opened up about his family going broke when he was young – and his desire to keep the cash rolling in.

Could more be coming? Well, it doesn’t seem like he is up for the reunion.

Sam Faiers – £8.9m

Sam has nearly £9m to her name

Don’t get too comfortable at the top of the earning tree, Mark.

Sam Faiers, unlikely to be back for the big reunion, is closing in thanks to her booming businesses.

Sam, 29, and sister Billie opened Minnie’s Boutique together, and of course she has her own hit TV show, the Mummy Diaries.

She has only just started.

Joey Essex – £6.3m

Joey has done pretty well for himself

Giving everyone that little bit of hope, ditsy Joey proves you don’t have to be totally clued up on the world to earn big.

The 30-year-old Reem machine has done incredibly well for himself since leaving the show.

Joey has managed to amass such wealth from his multiple TV appearances and endorsements – and he has reportedly already signed for the celebration series.

Billie Faiers – £4.1m

It’s a sister act for Billie and Sam

She may have half of what sister Sam has sitting in the bank.

But Billie has not done badly, and it with the majority of her earnings coming from her lucrative reality show deals.

With The Mummy Diaries money rolling in, she even splashed out £1.4million to build her Essex home.

Gemma Collins – £3.7m

Gemma won’t be happy she’s so far down the rich list

Arguably TOWIE’s most famous face, many will be surprised she isn’t further up the show’s rich-list.

The GC is everywhere. Diva Forever… Celebs Go Dating… Celebrity Big Brother…. well, for three days.

Although not one of the original cast members, she was brought in a year after the show’s launch and became one of the best-known stars of the show. The reunion wouldn’t the same without her.

Lucy Mecklenburgh – £3.5m

Lucy may not be the show’s biggest star but her bank balance says otherwise

Gemma Collins watch out, Meck is fast approaching!

The model and businesswoman has so much money she once went on ten holiday inside seven months,

The mum is big on fitness and is earning plenty from it but she’s too busy to return to the show.

Amy Childs – £3.1m

Is there anything Amy hasn’t done?

Where would the world be without the vajazzle? We scared to think, too.

Amy owned the show with her one-liners “Well jel” and his “Oh shut up!”.

Now, she owns four properties, her own tanning and jewellery range. Stints on Celebrity Big Brother, MasterChef, The Jump and Celebs Go Dating all saw her bank balance rocket.

Now she’s back for the reunion.

Jessica Wright – £2.6m

Jess has written a book since leaving

Perhaps surprisingly, her post-TOWIE weather dwarfs that of big names James Argent, Lauren Goodger and Lydia Bright.

Sister of rich list topper Mark, she’s jumped into careers in music, fashion and has even published a book.

She is reportedly up for the reunion as well.
