Man Utd’s two potential line-ups after Van de Beek and Grealish transfers

Manchester United’s transfer business is yet to really get going this summer transfer window.
But that could all be about to change.
The Red Devils are in pole position to land Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek and are set for talks with the Dutchman in the coming days.
Van de Beek has reportedly told Ajax team-mates he is joining United after he missed their pre-season friendly with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday due to transfer developments.
Having put a big-money move for Jadon Sancho on hold until next summer due to Borussia Dortmund’s demands, the Red Devils are also said to be still pursuing Jack Grealish.
The Aston Villa playmaker is still a prime target, according to the Daily Mail, with the prospect of a double swoop in the coming weeks.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been vocal about the need to add greater strength in depth to his squad to cope with the rigours of Champions League football next season.
And the arrivals of both Grealish and Van de Beek would go a long way to adding more top class depth.
A hypothetical look at two starting line-ups the Red Devils could put out underlines just how much difference the two would make.
In the case of Van de Beek, it would provide an ideal rotation option for Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes, offering midfield flexibility and attacking qualities.
Grealish can also cover a central role and operate across the front-three to give Solskjaer plenty of options for rotation.

Whilst more cover at centre-back and right-back could be handy, the two signings would effectively give Solskjaer two solid looking starting XIs and highlight how his options would be greatly enhanced.
