The Democrats marked the opening of the Republican National Convention Monday with a new ad mocking the ‘Republican National Chaos.’Â
The Democratic National Committee-funded spot accuses President Donald Trump of ‘meeting the COVID moment with job-destroying incompetence and deadly mismanagement.’Â
‘Students and teachers are left to themselves, the jobless left without a lifeline, grandparents left to die alone, an economy left to perish, because Trump has no plan for COVID, nothing will change because Trump won’t change,’ the ad continued.Â

Democrats launched a 30-second spot that pointed out President Donald Trump’s failure at handling the coronavirus crisisÂ
The Democrats blasted President Donald Trump for his ‘incompetence,’ along with his ‘deadly mismanagement’Â
Trump’s quote ‘it is what it is,’ is then used in the 30-second spot.Â
That line was used by Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton during their Democratic National Convention speeches last week.Â
The president originally uttered it when talking to Axios’ Jonathan Swan about the COVID-19 death toll.Â
‘Enjoy the convention!’ the ad says and concluces with Democratic nominee Joe Biden approving the message.    Â
The RNC kicked off Monday where it was originally scheduled, in Charlotte, North Carolina.Â
Trump made a mid-afternoon stop at the convention site as delegates were participating in their roll call vote, which officially made him the 2020 GOP presidential nominee.Â

The convention was supposed to take place over four days in Charlotte, but after a disagreement with the state’s Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper, Trump tried to pull it out of North Carolina and hold part of the RNC in Jacksonville, Florida instead.Â
That didn’t work out due to Florida’s spike in coronavirus cases, so now Trump and first lady Melania Trump will be speaking from the White House.Â
The Democrats delayed their convention by a month in hopes that they would be able to hold it in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but the four-day affair ended up being mostly ‘virtual’ last week. Â
Some business was still conducted in Wisconsin, but Democratic nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris spoke from Biden’s adopted hometown of Wilmington, Delaware instead. Â
When Wisconsin’s representative was casting his state’s votes for Trump during Monday’s RNC, he knocked Biden for ignoring Wisconsin for ‘664 days and counting.’Â
Wisconsin, along with Pennsylvania and Michigan, were the three surprise states Trump won in 2016 allowing him to win the White House over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.Â
