The BJP MP also said that the file of Ram Setu has been lying on his table for five years. In fact, in a conversation with a TV channel, Swami was asked the question which other people should have been called in Ram temple Bhoomi Pujan, who have not been called. In response, Swamy said that the Prime Minister has no contribution in the Ram temple. We debated all over. As far as I know, they have not done any such work on behalf of the government, about which we can say that the decision has come because of it. Swamy said that the people who worked include the names of Rajiv Gandhi, PV Narasimha Rao and Ashok Sinhal.

The BJP MP said that the file to declare Ram Setu as a national heritage has been lying on the Prime Minister’s table for the last 5 years, but he has not signed it yet. Swami said that I can go to court and get orders, but I feel bad that we have to go to court despite being our party.
Subramanian Swamy had said in one of his statements that if Rajiv Gandhi had become PM again, the Ram temple would have been built in Ayodhya. Rajiv Gandhi had opened the lock of the disputed site and also allowed the foundation stone program for the Ram temple but things changed with his untimely demise.
