US President Donald Trump attacks on India for Air pollution
Donald Trump – Narendra Modi Friendship
US President Donald Trump has attacked India over pollution. The US President has said that India, China and Russia have no worries about their air, whereas America cares about the air of their country. Trump has on several occasions sharply criticized India over pollution.
Referring to the Paris Climate Agreement, Trump said on Wednesday that the agreement was unilateral and waste of energy, so he decided to get out of it. Explain that Trump had announced his separation from the Paris Climate Agreement in June 2017. This global agreement emphasized several steps to reduce emissions of harmful greenhouse gases. Developing countries including India had some leeway in the agreement.
Trump said in an event in Texas, “Washington’s acceptance of the Paris Climate Agreement prohibits the leftist Democrats handing over countless American jobs and factories to China and its polluting countries. They tell us not to worry about the wind, but China India does not care about its air. India does not worry about the quality of its air and neither does Russia. But we do. The policy of America First will remain in force as long as I am the President. It is very straightforward. It is a matter.

Trump said, for many years we have kept other countries before ourselves, but now our priority is America. The US President said that the Paris Climate Agreement was disastrous and would have cost the US billions of dollars. Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama played an important role in this global agreement. Trump said, if we had accepted this agreement then we would not have been competitive. We canceled the Obama administration’s job snatching power plan.
Trump said, for the first time in the last 70 years we have become an energy exporting country. America has now become the number one producer of oil and natural gas. We will ensure that our position remains in the future.
However, this is not the first time Trump has targeted India over pollution. US President Donald Trump had earlier said that India, China and Russia are not doing anything to deal with the smoke emanating from their industries, and the waste of these countries is reaching Los Angeles via the sea.
Trump had said that America has comparatively less land and if you compare China, India and Russia, you will find that these countries are doing nothing to tackle their pollution, by eliminating trees in their country. And are dumping all the garbage in the sea. This garbage is flowing to Los Angeles. But nobody wants to talk about it. Everyone just talks about our country. We have to do this, we will not have to fly planes, we should not have cows here, we should not have anything but nobody says anything about China and developing countries.
The US President had said in another statement that China, India, Russia and many other countries have neither clean air nor clean water nor understanding about cleanliness. He said that in some cities you cannot even breathe.
According to the Global Carbon Project estimate of December 2018, India is the fourth largest emitter of carbon dioxide in the world and accounted for 7 per cent of global emissions in 2017. China (27%), the US (15%), the European Union (10%) and India (10%) were among the highest carbon emissions in 2017.
