Before Arshad Warsi, many Bollywood celebs, including Taapsee Pannu tweeted about the electricity bill. Stars like Taapsee Pannu, Pulkit Samrat, Renuka Sahane had expressed their displeasure over the increased electricity bill.

Bollywood celebs are upset with the increased electricity bill in Mumbai. Actor Arshad Warsi also tweeted about the electricity bill of one lakh rupees given by Adani Elektrisiti Mumbai. On this, Adani Alicity Mumbai, while replying, told the actor that the reply will be given on his complaint, but do not make personal comments. Arshad called Adani a highway robber. However, Arshad later deleted his tweets. The Adani Group also deleted their tweets and Adani Alicity Mumbai also deleted their tweets.

After Arshad’s tweet, Adani Elektricity wrote in reply – ‘We can understand your problem regarding the billing issue and we are here to help you, but we did not like to defame you personally and advise you that Pay attention to this habit. In another tweet, he wrote – ‘We will help you understand the consumption of electricity and demand that you delete the tweet. Request you to share your account number.

The group said – more power consumption in lockdown
