A news report in Mint says that according to EPFO data, 55 lakh people have withdrawn money from EPF so far. EPFO has settled claims of Rs.15 thousand crores of 55.80 lakh subscribers. Between 9 June and 29 June, 20 lakh people have withdrawn money from PF. Out of all the people who have withdrawn money since April, 60 percent of them are outside the scope of non-Kovid-19 withdrawal system.
