The Bharatiya Janata Party has won two seats in the Rajya Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. Among them Jyotiraditya Scindia, who joined the BJP from the Congress, has also won the Rajya Sabha election. Apart from this, Sumer Singh Solanki from BJP has also won the election.

At the same time, there is a Rajya Sabha seat from Madhya Pradesh in the Congress account. Digvijay Singh has won the Rajya Sabha elections on behalf of the Congress. Votes were cast for three Rajya Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. A total of four candidates were in the fray here. BJP and Congress fielded two candidates each.

In Madhya Pradesh, BJP had nominated Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sumer Singh Solanki for the three seats of Rajya Sabha. Both have won this election. At the same time, Digvijay Singh and Phool Singh Baraiya were Rajya Sabha candidates from Congress. However, only Digvijay Singh could win it.

By-election preparation

After the Rajya Sabha elections, now the by-elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh. Both the BJP and Congress parties have told their legislators that after the Rajya Sabha elections, the party has to be ready for the by-elections in 24 seats of Madhya Pradesh and they have to prepare for it after the Rajya Sabha elections.
