Woman accuses UP police constable of rape in Kannauj

In Kannauj-Tirwa, the woman complained to the SP and the police station by accusing the policeman of reaching the land dispute.

The woman, a village resident of Thathiya police station area, accused a soldier posted at the police station that she was sitting at her door on the evening of June 14, when three soldiers arrived in her house in a white car. A soldier took his hand and took her inside the house and raped her. On screaming, the accused soldier went with his colleagues and threatened to implicate her and her husband in a false case.

Police Officer Vijay Bahadur Verma said that the woman’s allegation is false. The woman’s land dispute is going on. 145 action was taken in this. The whole team of Daroga along with the accused soldier was sent to investigate. The woman is only accusing the police for putting pressure on her.
