The show not only gave Smriti a lot of stardom, but also helped forge a strong bond with its producer Ekta. Keeping in mind Ekta’s birthday today, Smriti shared a special video, in which she surprised Ekta by bringing all the actors of the show, which started in 2000 and lasted for eight years, together in one frame.

Smriti’s sweet gesture was noticed by many celebrities of the television industry, Hina Khan praised Smriti in the comments, writing, “She is very sweet.
