Corona relief: Japan ends emergency, PM Shinzo Abe announced it
Tokyo Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has ended the emergency imposed by the Corona virus in Tokyo and four other parts. With this, the nationwide restrictions imposed in Japan have ended.
Experts from a panel formed by the government have approved the removal of the emergency from Tokyo, neighboring provinces of Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama and Hokkaido in the northern part of the country.
The Government of Japan has taken this decision due to the rapid decrease in Kovid-19 cases. PM Shinzo Abe said in a television interview, “We had set very strict scales to remove the emergency.” Now we have touched those parameters. After which we decided to remove the emergency.
