PUBG MOBILE Miramar map update: New areas to discover in the desert
PUBG MOBILE has just got the version 0.18.0 update and Miramar gets a much-needed refresh after a long time. Here’s what’s new in the desert realms.
ast week, the PUBG MOBILE team released the version 0.18.0 update and one of the biggest additions to the game was the new and updated Miramar map. Yes, Miramar, the same desert map that came as the first additional map for PUBG MOBILE a couple of years ago. Miramar was spartan in every sense and offered a great way for snipers to practice their skills. However, the new update has added new stuff to Miramar, making it more attractive than before.
The most notable one has to be the new racetrack setup that lets players take to the wheels to go around the map in an interesting way. It also gives players to flex the muscles of the Golden Mirado vehicle, the exclusive muscle car that only spawns once in the map. If you are yet to get the update, you should download it now as there’s a lot to try with the new Miramar.
Miramar update: What’s new this time?
Golden Mirado
The Golden Mirado is the most exclusive vehicle in PUBG MOBILE that you can get your hands on. It’s similar to the convertible muscle car you find around Miramar in usual matches but this one comes in a special paint job of gold. In the desert realms of Miramar, the Golden Mirado is a very flashy way to move around, provided that you have a solid squad backing you up in case it attracts the attention of a rival squad.
New race track
Miramar gets its first dose of motorsport with a new racetrack laid out across its entirety. Of course, it cannot be comparable to a Formula 1 racetrack but for PUBG MOBILE fans, the track offers enough difference in its geography, with jumps and rings to fly through.

New tourist areas
Miramar gets two new areas for players to battle it out. One of them is the new Ruins areas, which as the name suggests, has ancient tombstones similar to the Stonehenge. This makes for perfect opportunities for snipers to eliminate players from a distance.
If you get tired of seeing the same desert, again and again, there’s now an oasis where you can chill out with your friends and squad. The oasis offers a great place to hide from enemies underwater for a short time.
New weapon
The Win94 sniper rifle makes it to PUBG MOBILE as a Miramar exclusive. The PUBG team says that this rifle is the fastest bolt action sniper rifle in the game and helps with medium to long-range sniping. The rifle deals with heavy damage to enemies. It even gets a new 2.7x scope.
Vending machines
A first for PUBG MOBILE, the vending machines are perfect for those times when you need a painkiller or an energy drink. The machines can give players up to eight painkillers or energy drinks at a time. The vending machines are scattered across the map.
Stormy weather
Players will have to now battle a duststorm as well, which adds to the overall playing experience.
