Air services to start soon, Air India mails staff

According to the information, Air India will start its services by the middle of May. At present, Air India will not call all its employees. Currently, work will be done with the help of some employees. Air India has asked its pilots and cabin crew to prepare to start some air services by mid-May. For this, he has sent a mail to his operations staff. In this mail, details of crew members and transport security passes for domestic and international flights have been given.

It is written in this mail that in the middle of May 2020, 25 percent to 30 percent flights are expected to be started. You are requested to ensure availability of the following, number of cockpits, cabin crew who are residing within the city limits. Further, Air India will make all arrangements and crew members passable from the Executive Director. It further said in the mail, full attention will also be given to the transport of the crew and arrangements will be made to bring them to all domestic and international stations. The airlines’ security department has been asked to arrange for a curfew pass for crew members.

Significantly, Air India had said that it has started booking for domestic flights on some routes from May 4 and for select international flights from June 1. Similarly, earlier, IndiGo had announced that it would start operating flights in a phased manner from May 4. Let us know that the second phase of lockdown will end on May 3. Airline companies and passengers can be informed about 10 days before the start of flight service.
