Kushinagar UP : Vulture found with tag on wings and GPS chip fitted in body, crowd gathered

Kushinagar The injured vulture was found on Friday in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Whose wings have a tag of C-3 and GPS chip is fitted in the body. On information, the Forest Department and the police officer reached the spot and took the vulture in its possession. Injured vultures are being treated. According to local media reports, the vulture has either been hurt or is ill. As soon as the information about the vulture was received, the villagers flocked to see it.

This vulture is an extinct bird. From the looks it looks like it belongs to a research institute..so it has a chip on its wings to trace its coding and location. He told that tagging is done to know the existence of extinct animal birds. He said that all information about this vulture will be found soon. According to the forest department, a survey is being done about which species of vultures are in danger.

Mapping techniques are also being used for this. So that their number and routine can be ascertained. For this a comprehensive campaign is going on in the state. Officials also say that this vulture may belong to Maharajganj. The first Jatayu Conservation and Breeding Center of the state is also being established in Farrenda of Maharajganj.
