In a letter written by former bureaucrats, it has been said that during the Corona period, there was enmity in the society about Muslims. Fake video clips of Muslim vendors spitting. The letter has the details of some such incidents in which discrimination against Muslims has also been mentioned. The letter also warns about India’s relations with Muslim countries regarding these incidents.

The entire country is struggling with the corona virus crisis. There is a nationwide lockdown due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. In the midst of the lockdown, 101 former bureaucrats have written letters to the Chief Ministers and Governors of the states mentioning the persecution of Muslims. In this letter, there has been talk of Muslim oppression.

The letter’s purpose is clear that after the Tabligi Jamaat case, an atmosphere was created against the Muslims, due to which they are falling prey to discrimination. The tabliagi Jamaat has been criticized in this letter, but the allegation has been that it is creating an atmosphere in the country against Muslims.

In this letter it is clearly said that the Jamaat has not violated social distancing alone. It is worth noting that this letter came out on the same day that Congress President Sonia Gandhi accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of spreading communalism.

Communal color given to transition

The Jamaat has been criticized for not accepting social distancing. Although it was not such a political and religious meeting alone, a section of the media gave Kovid 19 a communal color. Not accepting the Delhi government’s advisory, the Jamaat did a scandalous work, but giving it the communal color of the media is irresponsible.

An atmosphere of hatred created against Muslims

It has been said in the letter that this fueled enmity in the society regarding Muslims. Fake video clips of Muslim vendors spitting. The letter details some such incidents in which Muslims were allegedly discriminated against. The letter also warns about India’s relations with Muslim countries regarding these incidents.

The letter was written only on 23 April

The big thing is that this letter was written only on 23 April, the day Congress President Sonia Gandhi said in the CEC meeting that when we should fight unitedly against Corona virus, then BJP is spreading the virus of communal discrimination and hate. Big damage is being done to our social fabric.

Sonia Gandhi’s statement was in the wake of the storm on the lynching of 2 sadhus in Palghar, although the BJP did not delay in responding to Sonia. Sonia’s direct attack on the BJP on the issue of communalism and the letter of 101 former bureaucrats may start the debate of intolerance again.
