Araria / Home guard Jawan forced to do sit-ups as punishment on asking for pass to a Gov officer

Araria. During the lockdown, when a Home Guard soldier on duty demanded a pass from the officer, the officer got a meeting with the soldier. It is clearly visible in the viral video of this incident that a soldier is not only doing a sit-in meeting in front of the District Agriculture Officer, but is also seen apologizing by falling on his feet and with folded hands.

It is being told that the name of this soldier is Gonu Tatma, whose deployment is in Bairagachi in Araria. The District Agriculture Officer along with other officers of the Agriculture Department are also present there. During the duty, this soldier asked the officer to pass and told to fine 500 rupees if not given. After this, the senior police officers posted on duty arrived and the Agriculture Officer got them to sit up.

Araria SDOP Pushkar Kumar said that it has been investigated. On investigation, it was found that the soldier himself started to sit up. Araria SDOP said that the soldier is so straightforward that he started to sit up on his own and started apologizing. On this, the opposition has attacked the government fiercely.

RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari said that the officers are working to break the morale of the policemen. This act is an insult to the Corona warriors. The agricultural officer has access to the corridors of power. In the DGP case, take immediate notice and action should be taken immediately on the Agriculture Officer.

At the same time, BJP spokesperson Nikhil Anand has said that the Agriculture Officer has done wrong. The government will definitely take cognizance of this. We will demand DGP and DG (Home Guard) to honor this jawan. He said that the jawan has performed his duty and we salute him.
