Big decision of Uddhav government of Maharashtra, landlords will not be able to charge rent from tenants in the state for 3 months

new Delhi. Amid worsening situation in Maharashtra due to corona virus, the State Housing Department has issued an order saying that it issues instructions to landlords to postpone the collection of rent for at least 3 months. During this period, action will be taken on behalf of the state government if any tenant is evicted from the house for rent due to non-payment of rent. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s office has also issued this order.

Maharashtra number one in case of corona infection

Maharashtra is not only number one in the country in the case of corona infection, but is also the only state where the number of corona infected is more than 3 thousand. A total of 3699 positive cases of corona virus have been reported in Maharashtra. Out of these total cases of Corona, 3205 cases are active and 300 people have fully recovered or have been discharged. So far, 194 people have lost their lives in this state.
