BS6 Mahindra XUV500 Variants, Specifications and Features
Mahindra recently unveiled the variants, features and specification details of the BS6 Mahindra Scorpio. Now the company has revealed the details of BS6 Mahindra XUV500. Like the updated Scorpio, Mahindra has discontinued the entry-level variant W3 variant found in the BS4 XUV500.
The updated XUV500 will be available in four variant levels W5, W7, W9 and W11 (O). The company will launch it after the ongoing lockdown due to Corona virus is over.
The updated Mahindra XUV500 will get a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine with the current model, which is now a BS6 compliant. This engine generates power of 153bhp at 3750rpm and 360Nm torque at 1750rpm-2800rpm.
With this, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options will be available. In the BS6 version, this SUV will only be found in the front-wheel-drive system, as the W3 variant that comes with the all-wheel-drive system has been discontinued.
The entry-level variant of the BS6 XUV500 features silver grille inserts, projector headlamps, chrome scuff plates, full wheel cap, roof rails, power adjustable out side rear view mirrors, twin exhaust, 15cm infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, black-gray interior , Electrically operated dual HVAC, 6-way adjustable driver seat.
Apart from these, this variant will get features like dual immobilizer, tilt power steering, flip-key with remote, dual front airbags, speed alert, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminder and micro hybrid technology.
