Mob lynching: Muslim Youth beaten to death by suspecting conspiracy to spread corona virus

Police said that the deceased had gone to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh for a program of Tabligi Jamaat and returned to Delhi after 45 days in a vegetable truck.

new Delhi. The 22-year-old man was allegedly brutally assaulted by people on suspicion of plotting to spread the Corona Virus in Bawana, Delhi. Police gave this information on Wednesday. He said that the youth has been identified as Mehboob Ali, a resident of Harewali village in Bawana. Police said Ali went to Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh for a program of Tablighi Jamaat and returned to Delhi after 45 days in a truck loaded with vegetables.

He was nabbed from Azadpur vegetable market but was released after medical examination. Police said that when he reached his village, rumors spread that Ali had plans to spread the corona virus. A senior police officer said that he was beaten after being taken to the fields on Sunday. He was later rushed to the hospital where he died. Police has registered a case and arrested three people.
