CDMA: CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) technology is the basic technology that is used more in the US. CDMA interfaces less in other networks and can have multiple users talking at the same time, sharing the same frequency. It takes more power to reduce the extra signal noise, which reduces battery life. The CDMA handset is often locked to a single carrier and cannot be transferred.
GSM: GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) This is a digital mobile telephone system, used in Europe and other parts of the world. GSM phones can be unlocked and it can be transferred from one carrier to another. The 2G cellular network is commercially launched on GSM standard and has a maximum transfer speed of 50 kbit / s.
LTE: LTE (Long-Term Evolution) is 4G wireless broadband technology developed by Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). 4G LTE is standard wireless communication of high speed data for mobile phones and data terminals. It has a maximum download speed of 299.6 Mbit / s and upload speed 75.4 Mbit / s which is based on the equipment category of the mobile.
GPS: GPS service is a satellite based service which provides location, position and location along with weather information etc. It is also used for protection. When someone is in trouble, the person’s location can be detected by GPS.
