Not a single man in this village, yet women are getting pregnant in this way

Samburu (Kenya). The story of Samburu village in Kenya is amazing, only women live in this village, not a single man lives here. There she lives with her child and her own separate life. Simply put, men cannot come here, yet the women living here are not only pregnant, but also give birth and raise children, they are also without any men.

Men’s entry is banned in Umoja village of Samburu, Kenya surrounded by fencing of thorns. For the last 27 years only women have been living here. In 1990, the village was chosen to live with 15 women, with whom the British soldiers raped. After this, this village became the destination of women who became victims of violence of men. There are about 250 women and children living in this village at this time.

In the village, women are running a campaign site for tourists visiting primary school, cultural center and Samburu National Park. This village also has its own website. The women living here also make and sell traditional jewelery for the benefit of the village.
