Rajgarh / Shivraj government removed collector SDM, who came in light with slap case
Bhopal: The Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh removed Rajgarh Collector Nidhi Nivedita and SDM Priya Verma within 24 hours of assuming power. Both these officials came into the limelight when the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party was slapped during a rally in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
The order to remove both these officers was issued by the government on Tuesday evening. That is, within 24 hours of becoming the Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has removed both the officers. Both women officers came into the limelight when they not only prevented BJP leaders from taking out a rally in favor of the Citizenship Amendment Act in Rajgarh, but they were also mistreated.
The video of this incident went viral. After the video went viral, the BJP opened a front against both the officials. The BJP was a constant attacker on this matter. The BJP also held demonstrations across the state. At that time Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Gopal Bhargava, the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly and the then State President of the party also went to Rajgarh.
