Corona virus effect: All students will pass in Kendriya Vidyalayas up to class VIII
All children from first to eighth will now be passed in central schools closed due to corona virus. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has decided to promote children in the next classes under the provisions of the Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009. Regardless of whether the child was present or absent in the current session 2019-20 examinations, he will be passed and sent to the next class. The student’s result will be sent to parents through e-mail, WhatsApp and SMS.
Instructions have been issued in this regard on behalf of Dr. E. Prabhakar, Joint Commissioner (Training and Finance) in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Deputy Commissioner of all Regional Offices of Kendriya Vidyalaya. Accordingly, every student from first to eighth should be promoted in the next class. Whether the student appeared in the examination or not. The students of the first to second class will be promoted to the next class on the basis of their performance in the monthly test, while the third to eighth students will be promoted to the next class giving weightage to the subject in which they cannot appear in the test. .
Even if children from first to eighth grade get an E grade in the result, they are to be promoted to the next class without taking any corrective test. Parents will be shown if they want to see the results when the school opens. Some classes of exams were also not completed in KV due to corona virus. After this, it has been decided to promote the children before the session starts next month.
