Shaktipeeth Ma Chintpurni’s doors closed, Vaishno Devi Shrine Board’s appeal – Devotees should not visit

Jammu. All the temples, monuments and tourist places have been closed to avoid the infection of corona virus across the country. The Shirdi Sai Baba Trust said in a tweet that the Shirdi Baba temple has been closed from 3 pm today till further orders for the devotees in view of the outbreak of the Korana virus and along with it Prasadalaya and Nivasthanam have also been closed. On the other hand, it has been decided to close the doors of Siddh Baba Balak Nath Temple Diotasiddh in Himachal.

The doors of Chintpurni Shaktipeeth have been closed in Una district. This is the first time that the doors of Chintpurni Shaktipeeth were closed. The entry of devotees into the temple has been banned from Tuesday till further orders.

Meanwhile, seeing the situation caused by Corona virus, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Ramesh Kumar on Tuesday reviewed all aspects related to the yatra and safety of pilgrims. In view of the corona virus infection, the CEO has appealed to the pilgrims to postpone the pilgrimage to the holy cave until the situation is normal.

In the meantime, several steps have been taken to prevent infection. All pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi’s journey have to fill the self-reporting form available at the travel registration counter, hotel, helipad terminal.
